One of the brokers that I contacted to receive the Yacht Condition Declaration has still not replied after many days. What do I do to obtain the Yacht Condition Declaration from another broker?
Check the state of receipt of the Yacht Condition Declaration in the section "Certifications and Declarations" of your Private Area. If one of the requests that you sent is still in the "Pending" status, use the form that you will find on the same page to send the request to another broker.
I tried to upload a photo in the section "Manage my Passes" but a message is shown that says: "You have a problem with your Java Script". What should I do?
The problem may be caused by the settings of your browser. Try using another. If you do not have an alternative to the one you are using on your computer, you can download one of the browsers from the list below. Installation is simple and free of charge.

At the time of paying the registration, the system refused my credit card. What should I do?
If the transaction was refused, it is necessary to contact the company that issued the credit card. Alternatively, it is possible to make the payment by bank transfer. In order to know the bank coordinates it is sufficient to enter the section "My Registration Forms” and click on the link relative to the registration that you wish to pay for. A printable copy of the filled in form will be shown. At the bottom of the page there are the coordinates for payment by bank transfer.
Yacht Registration Form
May a yacht built more than 4 years ago attend the MYBA Charter Show?
Any quality yacht of 20 metres or over may register for attendance. However, yachts over 4 years of age will be required to submit three YACHT CONDITION DECLARATIONS provided by Brokers approved by the MYBA Charter Show Committee. These Declarations are to be provided by Brokers who have personally inspected the yacht within the past 12 months.
I would like to submit an application for M.Y.YACHT over 4 years of age and note that she will require three Yacht Condition Declarations. I cannot find these on the website. Can you explain the procedure?
On the Yacht Application Form you will see three boxes asking for the names and e-mail addresses of three brokers who have inspected the yacht in the past 12 months. Simply complete these boxes with the information requested and these brokers will automatically receive a request to provide a Yacht Condition Declaration for the yacht. The aim is to establish whether the yacht is in charter ready condition. You will be able to check the status of your application through your private area and verify whether the brokers you approached provided the Declaration as requested. If you see that a Declaration is still pending, you can then decide whether to follow up with that broker or to ask someone else for a declaration. Once all the Declarations are completed, they will be automatically forwarded to us and passed on to the MYBA boat show committee for approval.
I have been asked to submit a Yacht Condition Declaration for M.Y. YACHT but I cannot complete the on-line declaration form. Each time I try, I get a message that there is a script error and my computer crashes. What do you suggest I do?
This might be due to an incompatibility with your browser. You should try and use another browser, such as Firefox or the latest version of Internet Explorer. If you are still experiencing problems, please let us know which browser you use and which version, and our programmer will investigate.
M.Y. YACHT attended the show in 2008 or 2009. It has since been sold and refitted. Will it be able to apply for registration to the 2010 show?
Priority will be given to first-time applicants and to yachts that have not been in the show for the past two years. Other yachts will be able to apply for registration but will initially be placed on the waiting list. If a suitable berth becomes available, consideration will be given to the yacht's recent history - change of ownership, major refit, significant crew changes, etc.
Broker Registration Form
When is a "Declaration Form for Brokers" needed?
If the Broker submitting an application belongs to a company not listed on MYBAnet or to a new company not recognized by MYBA we require broker declaration forms from three separate charter managers with whom the applying Broker has booked a charter on a yacht of 20m and above within the past year.
I see that our company's name does not appear on the Brokers Attending list on the show website, even though we registered weeks ago. Why is this?
We only publish the companies who have been accepted by the MYBA Show Committee and have paid their registration fees. If your application is accepted, we will add your company's name to the Brokers Attending list as soon as payment is received.
Why do I need to send you a photo?
Your photo will appear on your show badge. To avoid long lines at the show registration desk upon arrival you may now upload your badge photo directly on-line prior to arrival by going to the show website www.mybashow.com, signing in with your access details, and going to "Manage my Passes" in your Private Area.
Can brokers bring their clients into the Show?
Brokers may bring clients into the Show by purchasing Guest Passes for them (Euro 200 each). This pass is valid for one day only and is not refundable or transferable. The guest must be accompanied by the broker at all times.
Exhibitor Registration Form
We have a stand at the Show and would like to invite some colleagues / partners / clients not officially registered to the event to visit our stand during the exhibition. Is it possible?
The MYBA Charter Show is a private event and admission is strictly limited to those who have registered for attendance. No guest without a show pass will be granted admission for the duration of the show.
As exhibitors, can we organize an event at our stand in order to promote our products?
At your own stand you can organize events and cocktails to promote your business on condition that any hospitality is over by 19:30 hrs and it doesn't conflict with official events arranged by the Show organizers and indicated in the Show Program. For more information on hosting a party during the show, please see the Exhibitors' Terms & Conditions.
Having reserved a stand at the Show, can we ask some additional staff from our company to join us at the Show?
Four show passes are included in the price of each single stand reserved. Up to two additional passes may be purchased at a cost of Euro 150 + VAT each for other company employees. Please note that to avoid abuse, they may be required to provide proof of their employment in the company.
Press Registration Form
May my personal press invitation be given to another colleague?
Press invitations are strictly personal and are not transferable.
May a member of the press register directly at the desk upon arrival?
To avoid abuse of press passes, press attendance at the 2010 Show is by invitation only. Only those who have previously been invited to the show may register at the desk upon arrival. If you would like an invitation and have not yet received one, please let us know.
Can the press distribute promotional/advertising material during the Show?
Distribution of any kind of promotional material during the Show is not permitted unless the company in question has reserved a stand and applied to attend the show as Exhibitors.
