Please find here below the terms & conditions to join the 22nd MYBA Charter Show.
Brokers
All Brokers with paid-up access to MYBAnet are invited to register for the MYBA Charter Show 2010 in Genoa .
All other Brokers may register provided they have been working within a yacht brokerage Company for a minimum of one year as a charter broker. Written confirmation from three charter managers with whom the applying Broker has booked a charter on a yacht of 20m and above within the past year will also be required.
New companies may also be asked to provide official documentation demonstrating that they are an established yacht charter brokerage company, such as their Company Statutes, Incorporation documents, Commercial Registration with the Chamber of Commerce, fiscal documents, etc.
New Brokers/Companies who register will need to send the required "Declaration Form for New Brokers" and any other documentation before the deadline of 18:00 GMT March 15, 2010 otherwise their registration will not be accepted.
Broker registration fee for 2010 is EURO 150 + 20% VAT
(All Brokers must be pre-registered by the deadline of March 15, 2010)
*After this date, the late registration fee is Euro 250 + 20% VAT
After a Broker has been confirmed, the registration fee is non-refundable. Broker registration may be transferred free of charge from one broker to another within the same company until 18:00 GMT April 20, 2010. After that, registrations cannot be transferred between brokers and a new registration must be made.
N.B. DAILY GUEST PASSES – Guests may be brought into the Show on payment of Euro 200 which will not be refunded. Payment of Guest Passes will be accepted either in cash or by credit card (only VISA and MASTERCARD accepted). They will be allocated a 1-day Guest badge and must be accompanied by the host company AT ALL TIMES. Unaccompanied guests will be asked to leave.
Guest Passes are not transferable, i.e.: payment is mandatory for each and every single guest, even if the same host company has more than one guest visiting the show on the same day.
Exhibitors
The MYBA Charter Show is pleased to receive registrations from Exhibitors wishing to take stands at this prestigious Trade Show featuring the best of the Mediterranean Charter Fleet for the 2010 Summer Season.
Stands of 4 x 4 meters are offered at EURO 2750 instead of EURO 2.950, plus 20% VAT. These are free-standing tented structures with white aluminium wall panels, carpeted, with 4 spotlights, company signboard and an electrical outlet. They will be aligned along the quay, directly behind the yachts. The reception tent will form the entrance to the entire Show and there should be excellent traffic flow.
The price includes 4 NAMED entry passes to the Show and 2 tickets to the gala dinner per stand. Rotation of passes is NOT permitted. N.B. The 4 named passes may only be attributed to employees (Proof of this may be required)
The Exhibitor fee is non-refundable.
A 1000 EURO break-down deposit must be paid with each stand registration.
It will be refunded at the end of the Show, only if the stand has not been dismantled before 17h00 on Friday May 7
(please provide precise bank details for the wire transfer refund). Stands must remain manned until that time.
EXHIBITORS ATTENDANCE CANNOT BE CONFIRMED UNLESS THE FORM & FULL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED PRIOR TO THE DEADLINE OF MARCH 15, 2010. Please ensure you provide full invoice details, together with EU VAT number (if applicable), otherwise your registration will not be considered complete) - 20% VAT will automatically be applied to all companies based in Italy or non-EU countries..
Technical assistance to Exhibitors
If an exhibitor needs additional equipment (stand furniture, telephone, fax, electrical equipment, a special set-up) please request the appropriate form from the Pesto organisation, Email:
fran@mybashow.com, or fill the appropriate form online at the time of registration. All furniture/additional equipment requests must arrive
no later than 18:00 GMT March 15, 2010.
The Exhibitor will receive a quote directly from the supplier.
Stand Set Up /Breakdown and Show timetable
Stands are available for set up from 9:30 to 18:00 on
Sunday May 2
and must be fully set up by 18:00 on the same day. Stands must not be dismantled before
Friday May 7
at 17:00 and must remain manned until that time. A EURO 1000 deposit will be paid with each stand registration and will be immediately refunded by bank transfer at the end of the Show on condition that the stand was not dismantled before 17:00 on Friday May 7, official stands' breakdown time.
Pre-registration
at the desk is required on the same day, Sunday May 2 between 9:30 and 17:00.
Exhibition area will be open from 9:30 to 18:30 from Monday to Thursday; and from 9:30 to 17:00 on Friday.
Yacht Viewing will be open from 9:30 to 17:30 from Monday to Thursday, and from 9:30 to17:00 on Friday. It will be interrupted daily from 12:30 to 14:00 for brokers' onboard lunches and from 17:30 to 18:30 for captains' visits to the Exhibition area.

No shipments/deliveries will be accepted by Marina Molo Vecchio and Pesto offices.
Additional personnel
Registration fee includes passes for up to 4 employees. Additional passes will be charged at Euro 150, plus 20% VAT per person up to a maximum of two additional employees.
Terms & Conditions for hosting a party at the stand (new requirement due to safety and insurance issues)
Parties at the stand will be allowed on the only condition they end by 19:30 every day of the Show; the Security service will be extended until 19:30 and Show entrances will remain closed to public. Cooking at the stand will be forbidden if it involves any kind of gas/electricity cooking systems.
Stand Insurance
We recommend that although we have 24-hour security during the show dates you contact your insurer for any additional coverage needed for your valuables and equipment if displaying costly goods.
Signboard
The signboard is included in the exhibition fee. Exhibitors must provide Francesca Carbone with the official wording for their signboard no later than the registration deadline. Be aware that abbreviations may be used, according to space limitations.
Rental space for a Quayside Banner may be purchased (banner not included)
A banner space (2m x1 m) may be purchased for 250 Euro, plus 20% VAT, to display your company name; banner to be attached along pier railing opposite your stand. For all the banner details please contact Francesca at Email:

Liabilities for services
Marina Molo Vecchio does not organise any of the above services and therefore declines all responsibility regarding the provision of these services.
Yachts
Priority will be given to first time entries and yachts that have not attended this Show in the past two years.
For all yachts over 4 years of age, three YACHT CONDITION DECLARATIONS will be required from Brokers approved by the MYBA Charter Show Committee. These Declarations are to be provided by Brokers who have personally inspected the yachts within the past 12 months.
Registrations are only valid when completed in full and cleared funds have been received. These funds will be returned if the registration is unsuccessful or if it is withdrawn prior to confirmation of acceptance.
The emphasis of the Show is on displaying quality yachts, both motor and sail of 20m and over.
YACHT CERTIFICATE AND CALL SIGN. You are reminded that presentation of the Yacht Certificate and Call Sign is mandatory for each yacht registered at the Show. The registration will be considered valid and complete only if it contains this documentation. It is possible to upload the relevant files in the section Certifications and Declarations of the Private Area.

Please note that berthing and consumption fees are not included in the registration fees.
Yachts are expected to arrive no later than May 1st. A minimum of 7 nights will be charged. The daily MYBA SHOW fees will be applied from April 25 until May 16 2010.
CONFIRMATION AND CANCELLATION
- Following registration and receipt of payment all yachts will be placed on a waiting list pending acceptance.
- Acceptance will be issued by the Committee at any time following registration .
- Upon written acceptance of yacht’s entry the following cancellation policy will apply .
Cancellation: up to and including April 15 = Refund 50% - After April 15 NO REFUND
Yachts on the waiting list must withdraw their registration should they be unable to attend. Unless, and until, such notice of withdrawal is received, the standard refund policy will apply upon acceptance which can occur at any time.
POLLUTION POLICY : Any yacht deemed to be causing a nuisance amongst other yachts and exhibitors will be asked to leave. The Show reserves the right to exclude yachts whose exhaust causes a problem to others (the yacht fee is not refundable).
SHORE POWER : Yacht’s installation must comply with the local shore power.
CONFIRMED YACHTS
: REGISTRATION IS NOT TRANSFERABLE FROM ONE YACHT TO ANOTHER.
It is recommended that each yacht provides a proper and up-to-date brochure, a detailed crew profile and a complete list of sports, entertainment and communication equipment.
The Charter Manager representing the registered yacht agrees that any MYBA Boat Show Committee decisions made regarding the yacht’s acceptance to the 2010 Charter Show remain final and definitive.
Each Charter Manager should complete a Broker Registration Form.
Attending press
The MYBA Charter Show is pleased to invite members of the press to the 2010 Show which, once again, is taking place at the prestigious Marina Molo Vecchio in Genoa, from May 3 - 7 2010. Entry is strictly by invitation and press credentials may be required. There is no charge involved; however it is necessary to register (deadline 18:00 GMT March 15, 2010) in order to obtain the relevant passes that will entitle press to attend all Show events (N.B. only 2 tickets to the Gala Dinner each per registered Press Company).
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Tickets for the GALA DINNER are limited. Registrations received after the registration deadline cannot be guaranteed a ticket.
Some yachts may restrict access to press in accordance with owner's instructions. To avoid any misunderstanding or disappointment, we recommend you contact the yacht's Charter Manager as a courtesy before arrival and/or boarding.
Please therefore complete the registration form on line no later than the deadline of 18:00 GMT March 15, 2010.
N.B. Editorial Press and Publications wishing to solicit advertising must register as Exhibitors with a stand in the Tent.
